    Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital Expansion

    Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Select Medical begin construction today on a project to nearly double the number of beds at its joint venture, Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital. Since its opening in July 2010, the medical rehabilitation hospital has seen an increasing number of referrals from physicians throughout central Pennsylvania and beyond seeking inpatient rehabilitation for critically injured patients. The expansion will add 44 new beds to the hospital’s existing 54 beds, nearly doubling the hospital’s size.

    Penn State Hershey Celebrates First Year Anniversary

    Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital recently celebrated their one year anniversary. To mark the special day, they hosted an open house with a fun theme entitled, "Rehabulous!" The Penn State Hershey team invited customers and former patients and their families to join them to celebrate a successful year. Patients shared success stories and staff thanked everyone who had contributed to the vision of opening a state-of-the-art hospital offering excellence in rehabilitation.

    Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital Introduces its New, Freestanding Location

    Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital's newly constructed, freestanding location was officially introduced today at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event took place at Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital's new location at 1135 Old West Chocolate Avenue in Derry Township.
